Position

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with on-board systems experience and a keen interest in I.T, looking to develop their career within the cruise industry. The position is not a ‘pure’ I.T. position but an operational role. Training on the I.T. functions / systems will be provided.

With a balance of customer service, implementation, support and training of users and colleagues you will have a varied role, managing client accounts.

Rescompany Systems Ltd. is a well-established, fast growing international company based in the UK, with offices in England, Australia, Canada, Germany, Poland and America. The company supplies Central Reservation System (CRS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Property Management Systems (PMS) and Point of Sale (POS) systems for the cruise, hospitality and travel market.

Responsibilities include

  • Account Management
  • Implementing our system at client sites
  • Training and support of users and colleagues
  • Providing remote support; supporting customers by phone, email, in person and via a ticketing system
  • Project management, pre and post implementations
  • Creating and developing procedures and documentation, including user and installation manuals, and reference materials as requested
  • Software testing
  • Knowledge sharing

Requirements:

Ideally candidates will have the following attributes:

  • Understanding of ship board systems, cruise and purser processes
  • Good aptitude for IT / Databases
  • Willingness to travel
  • Knowledge of the cruise industry
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to manage own workload
  • Extremely Self- Motivated
  • English language proficiency (essential)
